Celeste and I made a quick trip out to the happiest place on earth (after my week, I was in dire need of this experience)
I was suckered in to getting an annual pass ("well, what if you go this weekend, then in october, and it's SO cute at Christmas...") yep. suckered.
...best purchase EVER!

TOY STORY MANIA!!!
This has GOT to be the funnest ride ever!!! A word to the wise: start training 6mo in advance. You're going to get an INTENSE bicep-workout, and you'll want to be in tip-top shape!!!
Here are Celeste (green) and my (yellow) scores. She basically owned me...but I'd like to think my accuracy counts for something...
We spotted several characters (including the Mr. Incredible that went on a choking-rampage--thanks again Celeste for not indulging my request to get a picture with him...). I thought Bert looked particularly chipper, so I snapped a shot of him with the ever lovely Mary Poppins
This beauty was just asking for it...
Cute.
So...they're just advertising Taliban training now?
What the heck?
(KIDDING!!!)
Explain it.
The side view is just as good...
Celeste getting ready for the Brother Bear ride (name is escaping me...) with the cute Minnie ear-clips we found!
We got some really great ice cream at a diner-esque shop in California Adventure!
Celeste put on her big-girl pants and rode Tower of Terror with me!!! :D
She also got to the coveted Driver's seat on Indiana Jones!!!
Splash!!!
Celeste got the front and most moisture-filled seat on the log, as you can see
Veterans.
Yes. I am 24 years old and LOVE Disneyland. The people watching, the food, the rides, the atmosphere (in just about that order)...how could you not? And, it's only about a 3hr car trip... I'm going to go out on a limb and GUARANTEE many many many more posts similar to this within the next year :)
you can take us there for christmas. We'll accept that as a gift. thanks
