D.A.R.E.

Not to offend anyone...but,
THANK THE LO' MY KID IS THE ONE ON THE LEFT.
So, I attended my final D.A.R.E. graduation on 11-27-2009. :) . Pretty freaking excited about that. ...I know there's a possibility that I'll have kids/nieces/nephews of my own one day in the distant future...but I still fill as though I have done my part in supporting this program, and have attended my fair share of these events. It's up to you people to now take your turn. You only need to attend 7, I've decided (including your own).

I love going to events like these, especially Matty's, because:
1. He does not want us there (because he thinks we're - - the family - - embarrassing....and I have no clue as to why...though I may have shown up late ...in my scrubs and a huge robe/jacket thing, eating Pringles straight from the can, with mom and bill--who was rocking a Santa hat...),
2. Matt is the baby, and I'm like a proud parent at these stupid things,
3. The people/parent-watching at these things are amazing,
4. I strive to compete with the most obnoxious photo-taking parents,
5. I win.
Case in point...

Wish I could have gotten a video of this cute little-man's strut he's got goin' on...

Is it a bit much that I even enjoy watchin him clap?
He's cute. I'm obsessed.

Ha. The "death to you" glare. It's okay Matty, you're 10, you should be used to all the attention and paparazzi-esque-picture-taking "sisterly-love" by now :)

Shout outs:
-Thank you all the parents who attempted to compete against me in the obnoxious-photo-taking scramble of Bartlett Elementary's 5th Grade D.A.R.E. graduation, December 2009. Worthy competition, especially to the lady I knocked down.
-Thank you to Matt, for being so darn cute. Sorry you have to be the youngest, and sorry I insist on embarrassing you every chance I can... you'll appreciate me one day (...or so I'm told).
