I took the following photo with my phone while we were passing by the entrance gates the Friday night before we went to Disneyland.
Little did I know...
How accurately this single picture would depict the day ahead..
We knew we would only be there for one day, so in an effort to get as much done as possible, we arrived to Disney pretty close to its opening.
For the most part, it wasn't too crowded during the morning hours, though it did get pretty packed and pretty warm in the afternoon! But, crowds and heat (in So Cal) are to be expected...

What we didn't prepare for was:
-Splash Mountain: Closed.
-Pirates: Down
-Grizzly River Run: Down
-Screamin' California: Down
...etc, etc, etc
Though it wasn't the best, it was still pretty dang fun! Here are just a couple of pics:

We got to go to Chick-Fil-A right before we left, but saw this beaut. in the parking lot:
Fun Fact: If ever you're on a road trip with Celeste and SHE happens to be driving...and you see an ambulance with large open rear-windows and emt's actively working on the patient, you can bet your bottom dollar you'll be following that ambulance for the duration of the trip (until you or they exit, at least) and Celeste will incessantly be repeating: what are they doing to him now? What are they doing to him Now? WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO HIM NOW?!
Freakin' nutter.
Also, what usually takes just under 4 hours to complete took us 6 hours on the drive home due to the fact that at one point, the freeway was "coned-down" to one lane for the better part of a mile...which (for whatever reason), caused a 2hr back up :(
(totally one of those instances where, when you start to slow down and see the horrible traffic ahead of you, you innocently think, "I hope no one was hurt!" ...and then two hours later are thinking, "Someone had BETTER be DEAD! and there'd BETTER be bodies still strewn all over the freeway when I pass by the accident!" ....and don't even play like you haven't thought that before...)
Grrr...
Oh! So at work the other day, I walked to the front office and found this:

I came home to a wonderful surprise: "Someone" (no one would fess up to the deed) had washed my car! But, when I went to run a quick errand today, I turned on the car and my radio was BLARING (on 790AM) Dolly friggin' Parton...
alright, where to begin? Why on H.F's green earth would you take a picture of a byu plate? Yes I have seen a third nipple (my bro-in-law has one), but those nip shots you got are freaking disgusting. The ram horn toe is impressive and its good to see willum.
