The annual "Celebrate Nancy" Day

My mom stopped having birthdays, but still allows us one day each year to celebrate her above-ground, heart-beating status.

If she were celebrating birthdays, this was her...25th anniversary of 25.. if you catch my drift...

Here's how it all went down:

I cooked.
(and hell froze over)

(let's take a quick sec to play a round of I Spy...
I spy with my own two eyes...
A purple present..)

Present opening:

Candle blowing/Singing:

Her theme was a VERY fitting "Pretty Pretty Princess" one..
she's SO high maintenance ... :P

I Spy...matt..

"FASHION SHOWWW!!!"

hand holding?
really?
...sometimes I wonder about these two..

off to clean the office
(she's so special..)

Happy Birthday mom!
Hope you're around for AT LEAST 50 more :)
(unless you go completely senile...or get some other age-related illness...)

  2. 1. Well done that day. Hats off to you. Imagine if mom only had sons, her birthday would have been...uncelebrated and that's sad.
    2. Good job cooking. :)
    3. I found the present in the tree!
    4. I love that Spence and Matt hold hands, they are so adorable.
    5. Jess is the most SPE-SHUL girl in the World.
